The
Retractable Camera Mount (RCM) is revolutionizing the
way aerial surveillance cameras are mounted. Mounting your
camera with the RCM improves stealth, provides camera protection from FOD, protection
from bird & lightning strikes
during transit flights, allows for unimproved field operation and
enhances security for parked aircraft. Genesis 3 Engineering’s
patent pending RPS design can now incorporate these capabilities
on any aircraft.

Any
aircraft, whether Rotor Wing or Fixed Wing, requiring Nose Mount or
Fuselage Mount, cruising at speeds of 130 Knots
or 400 Knots, the RCM is for you. Each model of surveillance
aircraft offers its own unique performance and operational
characteristics. The Genesis 3 Engineering RCM is designed to
complement those characteristics. By altering the length of the
ball screw and slides, in addition to moving the attach points on
the upper and lower mounts, the Genesis 3 Engineering RCM can
be easily modified to accommodate your aircraft of choice.
Any sensor package: The Genesis 3 RCM is designed to accommodate any sensor package. By modifying the machined camera plate, the Genesis 3 RCM can accommodate cameras up to 20 inches in diameter.

At a weight of only 47 pounds, the Genesis 3 RCM insures that your surveillance aircraft will retain the original performance and flight characteristics.
The
Genesis 3 RCM design minimizes load paths at the structural
attach points and dampens vibration. Simply put, the RCM is installed
with minimal structural modifications.
